Children’s Area

The Children’s Area has a lot to offer our younger patrons. A large selection of easy-reader books with lots of pictures and few words for our beginning beginners. Our children’s area also contains our “junior” books. The fiction section is arranged in categories such as mystery, suspense, fantasy, animals, historical fiction, and many more. The non-fiction section includes a wide range of topics to assist children with improving their knowledge of people, places and things in their world.

We have many award winning books such as Caldecott and Newberry Award Winning Books. We have series books for the young readers such as Hank the Cowdog, Narnia, Harry Potter, Discovery Science Books and many more for them to check out.

The Children’s Area also has two computers that the children can play educational games upon them.
